Travels after the Trans Alp

IAfter the Trans Alp the teams stayed around the Garda See and stayed in Limone, visisted Verona, Salzburg, The Konigsee, and Munich before returning back to South Africa.

This was yet another amazing and memorable experience. The team would sincerely like to express their deepest appreciation for everybosy who assisted in making this such a memorable experience. The team would like to thank all their friends for their hospitality throughout their stay in Italy, Germany and Austria.

The team also express their thanks to all the supporters for the messages of encouragement and prayers in order to keep the teams motivated, save and to the finish line every day!

The Trans Alp is a very tough amateur race and again made all the participants realise that we are no real climbers able to maintain high speed on very long climbs never mind good decenders who are able to decent through the fast switchbacks.

If ever we attempt something similar we all have to loose much more weight before the time  and will have to train much harder or else we will have a battle royal and an extremely tough time to complete this race succesfully!
